http://jurnal.ukh.ac.id/index.php/JMRH/article/view/1588

Prenatal care is a crucial aspect of pregnancy and childbirth management. Among its primary activities, the measurement of the uterine fundus height (UFH) serves as a critical method for estimating fetal weight (EFW). After understanding EFW, health forces such as midwives can predict the problems that will be experienced and can carry out prevention to deal with them. The referral hospital assesses that the patient is unassisted or critical, the calculation of the usual fetal weight is able to help determine the certainty of the decision to be carried out to show the right obstetric service according to the condition of each patient. The Johnson-Toshack formula is the EFW formula commonly used in Indonesia, but the Risanto formula is an expanded formula for Indonesian researchers and is considered increasingly suitable for the material population in Indonesia. This study aims to understand the comparison of EFW evidence on infant birth weight by the use of the Johnson-Toshack and Risanto formulas. Data collection in the delivery room of Dr. OEN Kandang Sapi Hospital Solo and carried out from March to August 2024. All the mothers who have given birth and according to the inclusion specifications and are wiling to join the research. The results of the study stated that the Johnson-Toshack formula and the Risanto formula were appropriate to estimate the birth weight of the baby, with a significance value of < 0,001. The difference in EFW using Risanto’s formula to the baby’s birth weight is smaller than EFW using Johnson-Toshack EFW Risanto came out with 54 grams, EFW Johnson-Toshack came out with a value of 148 grams. In these results, it can be stated that the Risanto formula shows that the calculation follows the birth weight of the baby more than the Johnson-Toshack formula.

Sumarah SumarahWijayanti WijayantiDeny Eka Widyastuti

2024-12-282024-12-28111825Effectiveness of Structured Fetal Optimization Movements on Changes in Presentation From Breech to Head at 28-36 Weeks of Pregnancy at Smilebirth
http://jurnal.ukh.ac.id/index.php/JMRH/article/view/1685

Pregnancies with breech presentation carry a higher risk of complications, including cesarean delivery. Structured fetal optimization exercises offer an alternative to convert breech presentation to cephalic presentation. This study aims to analyze the effectiveness of these exercises in increasing the likelihood of normal delivery. The research employs a quasi-experimental design (pretest and posttest without a control group) involving 46 pregnant women between 28–36 weeks of gestation participating in the "Optimizing Fetal Positioning" program at Smilebirth. The sampling technique used was accidental sampling. Data were analyzed using the Wilcoxon Signed Rank Test to evaluate changes in fetal presentation before and after the intervention. Most respondents (95.7%) were aged 20–35 years with a gestational age of 28–32 weeks. Prior to the intervention, all fetuses (100%) were in breech presentation. Post-intervention, 87% of fetuses successfully shifted to cephalic presentation, while 13% remained in breech. Maternal adherence to the program significantly influenced intervention outcomes. Structured fetal optimization exercises were found to be effective in converting breech to cephalic presentation in pregnancies between 28–36 weeks, particularly in cases with earlier gestational age and high compliance. These findings support the use of the "Optimizing Fetal Positioning" program as a non-invasive intervention to increase the likelihood of normal delivery.
Yolanda CristyaningsihChristiani Bumi PangestiWahyu Dwi Agussafutri

2024-12-282024-12-28112632The Effect Of Baby Massage On The Sleep Quality Of Babies Aged 2-11 Months At Bantarangin Homecare Wonogiri
http://jurnal.ukh.ac.id/index.php/JMRH/article/view/1696

The prevalence of baby sleep problems in Central Java in 2018 was 44% of babies experiencing sleep disorders such as frequently waking up at night and not getting enough sleep. Baby Massage is an appropriate non-pharmacological therapy to improve sleep quality. The aim of the research is to analyze the effect of Baby Massage on the sleep quality of babies aged 2-11 months at Bantarangin Homecare Wonogiri. Pre-experimental research method, with one group pretest-posttest design type. The research population was babies aged 2-11 months, a total of 30 babies, in total sampling. The research instrument used the standard questionnaire A Brief Infant Sleep Questionnaire (BISQ) and was processed using the Wilcoxon test. The research results showed that the sleep quality of babies aged 2-11 months before being given baby massage was the majority poor, as many as 29 respondents (96.7%) and after having baby massage, the majority was good, as many as 26 respondents (86.7%). The Wilcoxon statistical test shows a significant p-value of 0.000 <0.05, which is less than the research limit of 0.05, so the hypothesis decision is to accept Ha. In conclusion, there is an influence of baby massage on the quality of baby sleep.
Lisa AndriyantiWijayanti Wijayanti

2024-12-282024-12-2811333810.34035/jmrh.v1i1.1696THE EFFECT OF GIVING FLASHCARDS MEDIA ABOUT CHANGES IN PUBERTY ON THE KNOWLEDGE OF ADOLESCENT GIRLS IN SMP NEGERI 01 KARANGPANDAN
http://jurnal.ukh.ac.id/index.php/JMRH/article/view/1693

Based on the 2010 Population Census, the number of adolescents 10-19 years old in Indonesia reached 43.5 million, about 18% of the world population. The Indonesian Adolescent Reproductive Health Survey shows that adolescents' knowledge of reproductive health is still low, knowledge is the understanding and ability to apply information. Flashcard media, as a development of learning media, can improve knowledge. This study aims to analyse the effect of using flashcard media about puberty changes on the knowledge of adolescent girls at SMP Negeri 1 Karangpandan. This research used pre-experimental method with Pretest-posttes with control group design. The population in this study amounted to 332 people, namely all female students in 2024 at SMP Negri 1 Karangpandan. With a sample size of 80 female students consisting of 40 control group students and 40 treatment groups. This study used random sampling technique. The instrument used was a questionnaire.

The results of the Wilcoxon test showed that the asymp.sig in the control and treatment groups was 0.001, (<0.05), so it was concluded that there was a significant difference between the pretest and posttest values in both groups. And the results of the Mann-Whitney test showed an asymp.sig value of 0.001 (<0.05), so the alternative hypothesis (Ha) was accepted, which means that there is an effect of flashcard media on the knowledge of adolescent girls about puberty changes at SMP Negeri 1 Karangpandan.
Nimas Galuh Ajeng PawilingWijayanti WijayantiYunia Renny Andhikatias
