Abstract

Adolescents have susceptibility to nutritional and metabolic problems. Obesity in adolescent girls can result in disruption of the menstrual cycle. Nutritional status is also associated with chronic inflammatory conditions that stimulate the secretion of inflammatory proteins. This study aimed to determine the correlation between LH hormone levels to IFNγ hormone levels and NLR profiles in adolescent girls with overweight and obesity. This type of research is quantitative research with post test design. The sampling used a purposive sampling technique which involved 30. The analysis used pearson product moment. The characteristics of respondents were 12 adolescent girls with grade 1 obesity status, 9 respondents were grade 2 obese and 9 other respondents were overweight. In the results of the correlation analysis test between LH levels to IFNγ p value 0.63 (>0.05) and test the correlation between LH levels to NLR p value 0.45 (>0.05). There was no correlation between LH hormone levels to IFNγ hormone levels and NLR profiles in overweight and obese adolescent girls.
