PENGARUH KARAKTERISTIK RESPONDEN TERHADAP KESIAPSIAGAAN BENCANA BANJIR DI DESA PASAWAHAN WILAYAH KERJA PUSKESMAS CICURUG KABUPATEN SUKABUMI
Abstract
Indonesia sebagai negara kepulauan yang memiliki kondisi geografis, geologis, hidrologis, demografis dan sosiologis membuatnya rentan terhadap bencana. Letak geografisnya di kawasan beriklim tropis menyebabkan Indonesia memiliki musim kemarau dan musim hujan. Karena hal ini Indonesia menempati peringkat ketiga sebagai negara yang rentan mengalami banjir di dunia. Banjir merupakan situasi di mana daratan tergenang oleh kenaikan volume air. Tujuan penelitia ini ntuk mengetahui pengaruh karakteristik responden terhadap kesipasiagaan masyarakat dalam mengahadapi bencana banjir. Jenis penelitian ini menggunakan korelasional dengan pendekatan cross sectional. Populasi penelitian ini sebanyak 1.538 orang dan sampel 317 orang dengan teknik proportional random sampling. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa terdapat pengaruh antara karakteristik responden terhadap kesiapsiagaan dengan nilai p-value jenis kelamin (0,000), umur (0,000), pendidikan (0,000), pekerjaan (0,000), sumber informasi (0,000), keikutsertaan organisasi (0,000), pelatihan bencana (0,006), pernah mengalami bencana (0,000) dan lama tinggal (0,000). Simpulan terdapat pengaruh jenis kelamin, usia, pendidikan, pekerjaan, sumber informasi, keikutsertaan organisasi, pelatihan bencana, pernah mengalami banjir, lama tinggal terhadap kesiapsiagaan bencana banjir serta terdapat pengaruh simultan jenis kelamin, usia, pendidikan, pekerjaan, sumber informasi, keikutsertaan organisasi, pelatihan bencana, pernah mengalami banjir, lama tinggal terhadap kesiapsiagaan bencana banjir di Desa Pasawahan Wilayah Kerja Puskesmas Cicurug Kabupaten Sukabumi.
Indonesia as an archipelago with geographical, geological, hydrological, demographic and sociological conditions makes it vulnerable to disasters. Its geographical location in the tropical climate region causes Indonesia to have a dry season and a rainy season. Because of this, Indonesia ranks as the third most flood-prone country in the world. Flooding is a situation where land is inundated by an increase in water volume. The purpose of this study is to determine the influence of respondent characteristics on community preparedness in dealing with flood disasters. This type of study uses correlation with a cross-sectional approach. The population of this study included 1,538 people, and the sample using proportional random sampling technique was 317 people. As a result, there was no influence between the characteristics of the respondents on motivation by the p-values of gender (0.000), age (0.000), educational background (0.000), occupation (0.000), information source (0.000), and organizational involvement (0.000). It has been shown that there is disaster training (0.006), disaster experience (0.000), length of stay (0.000). It has been concluded that there is a gender effect; age, education, occupation, information sources, organizational participation, disaster training, having experienced a flood, length of stay on flood disaster preparedness and there is a simultaneous influence of gender, age, education, occupation, information sources, organizational participation, disaster training, having experienced a flood. Length of residence on flood disaster preparedness in Pasawahan Village, Cicurug Health Center Working Area, Sukabumi Regency.
