Faktor-faktor yang Mempengaruhi Pemberian ASI Eksklusif pada Ibu Menyusui di Kelurahan Pedalangan Kecamatan Banyumanik Kota Semarang

Pemberian ASI eksklusif sangat diperlukan sampai bayi berusia 6 bulan. Namun sampai sekarang hanya sekitar 13% ibu yang memberikan ASI eksklusif pada bayinya. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui faktor-faktor yang mempengaruhi pemberian ASI eksklusif pada ibu menyusui di kelurahan Pedalangan kecamatan Banyumanik kota Semarang. Faktor yang diidentifikasi antara lain usia ibu, tingkat pendidikan ibu, status pekerjaan, urutan kelahiran bayi, pengetahuan ibu, dukungan suami, dukungan petugas kesehatan dan sosial budaya. Penelitian ini adalah penelitian kuantitatif non experimental yaitu explanatory research dengan pendekatan cross sectional dan metode survey analitik. Pengumpulan data dilakukan dengan kuesioner. Jumlah responden sebanyak 80 ibu yang memenuhi kriteria inklusi dengan teknik pengambilan sampel purposive sampling. Data yang diperoleh diolah secara statistik dengan menggunakan uji C/w' Square untuk menentukan faktor-faktor yang berpengaruh terhadap pemberian ASI eksklusif dan regresi logistik digunakan untuk menentukan faktor yang paling berpengaruh terhadap pemberian ASI eksklusif. Uji statistik ' menunjukkan variabel yang berpengaruh secara signifikan terhadap pemberian ASI eksklusif adalah usia ibu, status pekerjaan, urutan kelahiran bayi dan dukungan petugas kesehatan. Uji regresi logistik menunjukkan bahwa faktor paling dominan yang mempengaruhi pemberian ASI eksklusif adalah ststus pekerjaan dengan p=0,008 dan OR=4,137 yang menandakan bahwa ibu yang tidak bekerja berpeluang memberikan ASI ekskusif pada bayinya 4 kali dibanding ibu yang bekerja. Faktor-faktor yang berpengaruh terhadap pemberian ASI eksklusif pada ibu menyusui di kelurahan Pedalangan kecamatan Banyumanik kota Semarang adalah usia ibu, status pekerjaan, urutan kelahiran bayi, dukungan petugas kesehatan dan faktor yang paling dominan adalah status pekerjaan.

ABSTRACT

The exclusive breastfeeding (ASI exclusive) is highly recomended until six month life of infant. But until now the performance wals only aboud 13% mothers practiced exclusive the breast-feeding for their baby. The purpose of this research was to leam Influencing factors to the ASI exclusive on the breastfeed mother in Kelurahan Pedalangan Kecamatan Banyumanik Kota Semarang. Identified factors were mother's age, mother's education level, occupational status, birth order of baby, mother's knowledge, husband's support, healthcare support and socio cultural. This research was quantitative non experimental and explanatory research with approached of cross sectional dan survey analitic method. Totally sample 80 respondents who fulfilled criterion of research. It used purposive sampling method. The data obtained were analyzed by Chi Square test to determine factors influencing ASI exclusive and logistic regression analysis was done to determine factors which most influence of ASI exclusive. The result of statistical test showed variabels which significanlly influencing ASI exclusive are mother's age, occupational status, birth order of baby and healthcare support. Logistic regression indicated that factor which most influence of ASI exclusive was occupational status of mother with p=0,008 dan OR=4,137, it mean mothers who not working calmed giving ASI exclusive for their baby were 4 times than mothers who working. Factors that influencing ASI exclusive on the breastfeed mother in Kelurahan Pedalangan Kecamatan Banyumanik Kota Semarang were mother's age, occupational status, birth order of baby and healthcare support and factor which most influence was occupational status of mother.
