Perbedaan Penerapan Metode Demonstrasi dan Audiovisual (VCD) Terhadap Penguasaan Keterampilan Pertolongan Persalinan Kala II pada Mahasiswa Semester III
Abstract
ABSTRAKBidan merupakan tenaga kesehatan yang memegang peranan penting dalam pelayanan maternal dan perinatal. Salah satu kompetensi yang harus dimiliki adalah mampu memberikan * asuhan persalinan dan kelahiran. Pencapaian kompetensi tersebut dapat diawali dari institusi pendidikan. Guna mencapai keterampilan profesional dalam memberikan pelayanan kebidanan diperlukan proses belajar mengajar yang kondusif dilihat dari kurikulum, tenaga pengajar, sarana dan prasarana serta metode. Metode dalam rangkaian sistem pembelajaran memegang peran penting. Metode yang diperlukan dalam proses pembelajaran difokuskan pada penerapan metode demonstrasi dan audiovisual. Mengetahui perbedaan penerapan metode demonstrasi dan audiovisual (VCD) terhadap penguasaan keterampilan pertolongan persalinan kala II. Quasi experimental dengan desain The Statistic Group Comparison. Mahasiswa semester III Akbid Kusuma Husada Surakarta, dengan jumlah sample 84 mahasiswa.
Analisis bivariat dilakukan pada variabel metode pembelajaran dan penguasaan keterampilan pertolongan .persalinan kala II dengan menggunakan rumus independent t-test dengan tingkat kemaknaan 5%. Rata -rata nilai evaluasi pertolongan persalinan kala II dengan metode demonstrasi adalah 40.7758 dengan standart deviasi 5.89564. Sedangkan untuk audiovisual rata -rata nilai evaluasinya 22.9762 dengan standart deviasi 3.18302. Berdasarkan hasil uji hipotesis menggunakan independent t -test dengan tingkat kemaknaan 5%, diketahui bahwa terdapat perbedaan yang signifikan antara kedua kelompok perlakuan (P=0.000) Kelompok perlakuan metode demonstrasi mempunyai rata -rata nilai evaluasi pertolongan persalinan kala II lebih tinggi daripada kelompok perlakuan audiovisual.

Abstract
Midwife is one of health proffesionals who has important role in maternal and perinatal services. One of the competences that should be have is able to give upbringing of childbirth and birth. In order to get professional skill in giving midwife service, it needs a condusive teaching learning process seen from the curriculum, teaching staff, means and infrastructure, and also method. The method in series of learning system has important role. The method which is needed in learning process is focused on the application of demonstration and audiovisual methodology. Objective: To know the differences between the aplication of demonstration and audiovisual methodology (VCD) toward the skills mastery of childbirth aid II period. Research Method: quasi experimental by the statistic group comparison design.
Subject: Third student of Accademic of Kusuma Husada Midwefery of Surakarta, with 84 samples student. Data Analysis: Bivariatic analysis is appleid to learning methodology and skill mastery of childbirth aid II period by using independent t-test formula with 5% degrees of significancy variable. Result: The average evaluation score of childbirth aid II period by demonstration methodology is 40.7758 with 5.89564 standard deviation.Meanwhile for audiovisual, the average evaluation score is 22.9762 with 3.18302 standard deviation. Based on the result of hypothesis test using independent t-test with 5% degrees of significancy, known that there are significantly differences between both of treatment groups (P=0.000). Conclusion: The treatment group of demonstration methodology has average evaluation score of childbirth aid II period higher than the treatment group of audiovisual methodology.
