EFEKTIFITAS RELAKSASI AROMATERAPI LAVENDER TERHADAP PENURUNAN KECEMASAN DI POSYANDU LANSIA DESA PLESUNGAN KARANGANYAR

Pengaruh proses menua dapat menimbulkan masalah fisik, psikologis maupun sosial. Keadaan tersebut berpotensi menimbulkan masalah kesehatan salah satunya kecemasan. Relaksasi aromaterapi lavender dapat meningkatkan perasaan positif dan rileks. Tujuan penelitian untuk mengetahui efektifitas relaksasi aromaterapi lavender terhadap penurunan kecemasan di Posyandu lansia Desa Plesungan Karanganyar. Metode penelitian menggunakan metode Pre Experimental Design dengan rancangan penelitian One-Group Pretest Postest dengan jumlah sampel 15 lansia. Pengumpulan data menggunakan kuesioner HRS-A (Hamillton Ratting Scale for Anxiety) yang terdiri dari 14 item pertanyaan. Data dianalisis menggunakan Uji Statistik Paired sample t-test. Hasil penelitian menunjukan nilai p value 0,000. Kesimpulan dalam penelitian ini relaksasi aromaterapi lavender efektif untuk menurunkan kecemasan lansia.

The influence of the aging process can cause physical problems, psychological and social. The state could potentially cause health problems one of anxiety. Relaxation lavender aromatherapy can enhance positive feelings and relaxed. The purpose of this study to determine the effectiveness of lavender aromatherapy relaxation to decrease anxiety in elderly Posyandu Plesungan Karanganyar village. This study uses the Pre Experimental Design with the study design One-group pretest posttest with a sample of 15 elderly. Collecting data using questionnaires HRS-A (Hamilton Rating Scale for Anxiety), which consists of 14 items Data were analyzed using Statistical Test Paired sample t-test. These results indicate p value of 0.000. The conclusion of this study relaxation aromatherapy lavender effective to reduce anxiety elderly.
