PEMERIKSAAN HIV 1 DAN 2 METODE IMUNOKROMATOGRAFI RAPID TEST SEBAGAI SCREENING TEST DETEKSI AIDS

ABSTRAK
AIDS (Aquired Immuno De¿ ciency Syindrom) adalah suatu keadaan akibat menurunnya sistem kekebalan tubuh secara bertahap disebabkan oleh virus yang dikenal sebagai HIV (Human Immunode¿ ciency Virus). Pemeriksaan HIV 1 dan 2 Imunokromatogra¿ Rapid Test ini merupakan cara kualitatif guna mengetahui ada tidaknya antibodi HIV tipe 1 dan HIV tipe 2 dalam sampel. Metode penelitian berdasarkan pemeriksaan laboratorium menggunakan metode Imunokromatogra¿ Rapid Test yang berdasarkan prinsip imunokromatogra¿ dengan serum atau darah sebagai sampelnya. Metode ini mempunyai kelebihan yaitu waktu pemeriksaan cepat (hanya berkisar 15 – 30 menit), mudah dilakukan, tidak menggunakan alat yang khusus dan cukup sensitif. Dari 20 sampel yang dipakai diperoleh 5 sampel positif (+) mengandung antibodi HIV tipe 1 dan 2. Metode Imunokromatogra¿ Rapid Test dapat digunakan sebagai screening test terhadap AIDS.

ABSTRACT
AIDS (Aquired Immuno De¿ ciency Syndrom) is a condition caused by the decreasing of the body imunity system periodicly that caused by virus called HIV. HIV 1 and 2 imunocromatography rapid test method examination is a qualitative test to know HIV type 1 and type 2 antibody on sampel. HIV immunocromatography rapid test method laboratory examination is according to immune chromatography princip with the serum or blood as the sampel. This method bene¿ t is fast (only 15 – 30 minutes), easy doing, do not use spcial tools, and sensitive enough. The result is 5 samples are positive (+) containing HIV 1 and 2 antibody from 20 samples. Immuno chromatography Rapid Test method can be used as AIDS screening test.
