HUBUNGAN MOTIVASI DENGAN PENCAPAIAN TARGET PEMASANGAN INFUS PADA MAHASISWA TINGKAT II JURUSAN D III KEPERAWATAN POLTEKKES KEMENKES SURAKARTA TAHUN 2013

Ketrampilan pemasangan infus merupakan salah satu kompetensi yang harus dimiliki oleh perawat profesional. Agar perawat kompeten memasang infus maka sejak dari pendidikan harus sudah dibekali dengan teori dan praktik memasang infus secara langsung ke pasien. Hasil evaluasi menunjukkan penurunan pencapaian target kompetensi memasang infus. Laporan dari pembimbing ruangan motivasi mahasiswa untuk praktik klinik cenderung menurun. Tujuan penelitian untuk mengetahui hubungan antara motivasi dengan pencapaian target pemasangan infus pada mahasiswa tingkat II Jurusan D III keperawatan Politeknik Kesehatan Surakarta tahun 2013. Jenis penelitian adalah penelitian analitik korelasional untuk mengetahui hubungan antara motivasi mahasiswa dengan keberhasilan pencapaian target pemasangan infus. Populasi seluruh mahasiswa tingkat II Jurusan D III keperawatan Politeknik Kesehatan Surakarta semester IV tahun ajaran 2012/2013 yang berjumlah 104 mahasiswa. Teknik sampling adalah teknik sampling jenuh dimana seluruh anggota populasi dipakai sebagai responden. Analisa data dengan uji Chi Square dengan program SPSS. Hasil penelitian (1) mahasiswa yang belum mencapai target ketrampilan pemasangan infus adalah 18 orang atau 17,31%, (2) mahasiswa yang sudah mencapai target ketrampilan pemasangan infus adalah 86 orang atau 82,69%, (3) Mahasiswa yang belum mencapai target lebih banyak pada kelompok mahasiswa dengan tingkat motivasi cukup yaitu 21 mahasiswa sedangkan pada kelompok mahasiswa dengan motivasi baik hanya 11 mahasiswa. Kesimpulan terdapat hubungan yang siginifikan antara motivasi dengan pencapaian target ketrampilan pemasangan infus.

ABSTRACT

Skills setting-up infusion is one of the competencies that must be owned by a professional nurse. To be a competent nurse put the infusion since of education must be provided with the theory and practice of setting-up infusion directly into the patient. The evaluation results showed a decrease in the achievement of competence setting-up infusion. Reports of student motivation room supervisor for clinical practice tends to decrease. The aim of research to determine the relationship between motivation and achievement of students infusion on the second level D III Nursing Department of Health Polytechnic Surakarta in 2013. This type of research is correlational analytic study to determine the relationship between motivation and achievement of students with success infusion. The entire student population level II D- III Nursing Department of Health Polytechnic Surakarta fourth semester of the academic year 2012/2013, amounting to 104 students. Sampling technique is saturated sampling technique in which all members of the population used as a respondent. Data analysis Chi Square test with SPSS. The results of the study (1) students who have not reached the target skill infusion is 18 people or 17.31%, (2) a student
who has reached the target skill infusion is 86 people or 82.69%, (3) Students who have not reached the target more on groups of students with sufficient motivation level is 21 students while in the group of students with good motivation only 11 students. Conclusion that there is a significant relationship between motivation and performance target of skills infusion.
